Here we are, it is mid January already. The memories of 2014 are like old pictures hanging on the wall, gathering dust, their crisp colors dulling and fading in the sunlight. Before long we will forget to even notice them. Unlike real life, a blog like this keeps everything neatly filed and stored for quick recall. Years from now I will be able to look and see what I posted in April or August of 2014. I am always seeking more ways to stay offline, but to easily glance and search a collection of moments is definitely the best part of chronicling life online. It is hard to narrow down the year to a few highlights, so let me start with the brightest moment—welcoming Baby L. She ushered in a new era for our lives and Two for the Moon. The journey changed, the themes in our lives seemed to be larger, and our small household began to feel like a true family. The other posts here are favorites of mine and ones that have been very popular posts.
Thank you for visiting this blog and sharing the moments and meals with us. Each year is always, at its most basic and essential level, about the connections made and relationships sustained. That often happens over a shared meal.
